These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Sharon Burchall Cake Studio, including in-person classes, online tutorials, digital downloads, and any other materials (including free resources shared via YouTube, email newsletters, or social media).

By purchasing, booking, downloading, or accessing any of My content, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Intellectual Property and Use of Materials

1.1 All designs, class content, recipes, templates, guides, and teaching methods remain the property and copyright of Sharon Burchall and Sharon Burchall Cake Studio.

1.2 You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use any content you purchase or access only for your own personal baking and decorating purposes.

1.3 You may not:

• Share, teach, demonstrate, re-sell, reproduce, distribute, or publish any content, in part or in full, in any format (including but not limited to printed, electronic, video, or audio).

• Use any materials, recipes, or designs in any training, demonstration, or class you conduct, whether for payment or free of charge.

• Upload any content to file-sharing platforms or social media.

1.4 If I believe you intend to reteach, share, or distribute any of My content without permission, or if your conduct is disruptive or detrimental to others, I reserve the right to remove your access immediately and without refund.

1.5 All online class access, downloads, and purchased materials are for individual use only. Sharing login details or distributing content to any other person is strictly prohibited.

2. In-Person Classes

2.1 All bookings for in-person classes are subject to availability and require full payment at the time of booking.

2.2 Cancellations and Refunds:

• No refunds will be given for cancellations.

• Once booked, dates cannot be rescheduled.

• If you are unable to attend, you may nominate another person to take your place. You must provide full contact details of the replacement attendee in advance.

2.3 If I cancel a class, you will be offered an alternative date. If no suitable date is available, a Gift Certificate will be issued. My liability is strictly limited to the cost of the class booked and does not include any travel, accommodation, or other expenses.

2.4 You must not attend if you have had sickness, diarrhoea, or any infectious illness (including Covid-19) within 48 hours of the class.

2.5 Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who has also booked a place.

2.6 You are welcome to arrive early, but classes will start promptly. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, you may be refused entry without refund.

2.7 Recording of in-person classes is not permitted. You may take photos of your own work, but please ask if you prefer not to be photographed. I may use photographs of classes or student work for marketing purposes.

3. Online Classes and Tutorials

3.1 Online classes (including live and pre-recorded content, webinars, and YouTube videos) are subject to the same copyright protections as in-person classes.

3.2 You may not:

• Share access links, login credentials, or meeting invitations.

• Record or re-broadcast any class or tutorial.

• Share screenshots, video clips, or any part of the content.

3.3 It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary equipment, internet connection, and familiarity with any software or apps required to access online classes.

3.4 If you share access details with any other person, all involved parties will have their access revoked immediately, with no refund.

3.5 For YouTube tutorials and free content, you may view for personal use only. Sharing for commercial purposes, embedding without attribution, or copying content is prohibited.

4. Digital Downloads and Templates

4.1 All downloadable products (recipes, templates, guides, patterns) are for personal use only.

4.2 You may print one copy for your own use, but you may not:

• Share, sell, distribute, or publish any part of the download in any format.

• Upload it to any website, social media, or file-sharing service.

• Use it as part of any training, demonstration, or commercial service.

4.3 By purchasing or downloading digital content, you acknowledge and agree that you waive your right to a refund, in accordance with UK consumer regulations, once the download has started.

5. Payments

5.1 All payments must be made in full at the time of booking or purchase.

5.2 No places or products will be reserved without payment.

5.3 For private or specifically arranged bookings, payment is due within 24 hours of agreement or the date will be reallocated.

5.4 Booking fees and payments are non-refundable except as set out by law.

5.5 For services booked online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period if services have not yet been provided. If you book a class within 14 days and attend it, you waive this right.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

6.1 I make no guarantee of any specific results from the use of My products or services.

6.2 By participating in any class, online course, or using any download, you agree to release Me from all liability for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your participation or use.

6.3 My maximum liability will not exceed the price paid for the product or service.

6.4 I will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to events outside My control, including but not limited to illness, technical failures, weather, or acts of terrorism.

7. General

7.1 All content on My website and in any materials remains the property of Sharon Burchall Cake Studio and may not be reproduced without express written permission.

7.2 Personal data provided to Me will be processed in accordance with My Privacy Policy.

7.3 These Terms are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

7.4 Terms may be updated without notice. The current version will always be available on the Website.

7.5 If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

8. Online Video Classes and Membership Access

8.1 Personal Use Only

All video content, whether purchased individually or accessed through a membership subscription, is provided strictly for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:

• Record, download, duplicate, or distribute videos in any format.

• Use any part of the content to teach, demonstrate, or train others, whether for payment or free of charge.

8.2 Individual Video Purchases
When you purchase an individual online class:

• Access is provided to you for personal viewing only.

• You acknowledge and agree that you waive your right to a refund once streaming or downloading begins.

• You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection are suitable to view the content.

8.3 Membership Access
If you purchase a membership subscription:

• Your subscription provides access to all available videos included in the membership while your subscription remains active and paid.

• Memberships are personal to you and cannot be transferred to another individual.

• You must not share your access credentials or allow any other person to use your subscription.

• Membership renewals and payments will be charged as agreed at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly or annually).

• You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with the cancellation terms set out at the point of purchase. Access will continue until the end of the paid period, after which it will end automatically.

• No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of a subscription period if you cancel partway through.

8.4 Breach of Terms
If I reasonably believe you are in breach of these terms (including sharing or re-selling content), I reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access immediately and without refund;

• Block future purchases;

• Pursue any appropriate legal action to protect My intellectual property.

8.5 Disclaimer
I make no guarantee of any specific results, outcomes, or improvements as a result of watching video classes or using membership content. Your progress depends on your own skill, experience, and effort.
